ADVANCE Through the Lens is a monthly contest open to models — judged on editorial photography that captures presence, story, and craft. Each month stands on its own. Every winner earns their place in something bigger.
MONTHLY CONTESTOne winner is selected each month from March through November 2026. Monthly winners receive:
—$250 cash prize
—Feature placement in ADVANCE Model Magazine
—Feature placement on the AbsolutelyKellyL website
—Automatic entry into the Grand Prize competition
Win the Month
GRAND PRIZEThe nine monthly winners are automatically entered into the Grand Prize competition. Each finalist may also submit up to 10 additional photos under the contest terms for further consideration. Only the 9 monthly winners are eligible. The grand prize winner receives:
—$1,000 cash prize
—A full day at the AbsolutelyKellyL Studio in Johnsonville, SC — a dedicated production day in the world of AbsolutelyKellyL
—A professional photoshoot by Brushed & Co. with beauty by Brushed by KellyL — three outfit changes, shot for a headshot, an editorial full-body look, and a lifestyle look of the model's choice
